Artful Mechanisms with Jay Mankita of Playful Engineers
Work with wood and wire, cardboard, pencils, and other ordinary materials, to make your own mechanical creations. In this hands-on maker space workshop, you’ll explore basic principles, while making simple machines come alive through artful design. Experiment with crankshafts, cams, and linkages as you plan, assemble, and fine-tune your own kinetic sculpture that tells a story, sets a scene, or brings a character to life.
Registration Required. Please make arrangements for any younger children as this program is not suitable for them.
