Description

Families and residents are invited to attend the free event where they can meet some of Canton’s firefighters and learn important fire safety tips. Participants will be shown a live burn and sprinkler system demonstration and a hydraulic extrication tool demonstration. There will be tours of the fire station and plenty of activities for kids including a bouncy slide, climbing through the fire trucks and taking turns spraying a hose. Adults and children will have the opportunity to view the department's fire trucks and the equipment that firefighters use everyday. In addition, people over age 9 can get a free flu shot administered by the Canton Board of Health. Food and refreshments will be served.
