I had the honor of being invited to attend the Confikids Inspirational Gala—and what a beautiful night it was! Surrounded by my fellow Macaroni Kid publishers, we enjoyed an evening filled with delicious food, drinks, dancing, and a whole lot of heart. The energy in the room was electric, with people from all over gathering to celebrate the incredible work Confikids is doing for children in our communities.
The evening was packed with exciting raffles and generous fundraising efforts, all to support a mission that truly makes a difference: helping kids participate in extracurricular activities they might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience.
One of the most touching moments of the night came when three amazing Confikids participants took the stage. In front of hundreds of attendees, these brave kids shared their personal journeys and how Confikids has impacted their lives. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
Joining them were three local celebrities, each lending their voice to the importance of Confikids’ mission. One special guest, Ayla Brown—American Idol finalist—treated us to a sweet surprise by performing her original audition song. Her presence and voice added even more magic to an already unforgettable evening.
A huge thank you to Rachel Calabrese and the entire Confikids team for the invitation and for the incredible work you do. The night was beautiful, heartfelt, and a true celebration of community and kindness.
