I am a HUGE ice cream fan! I love ice cream. Almost from anywhere! But something I love more than ice cream is an ice cream shoppe! I was so happy to find Foley's Ice Cream Shoppe in Braintree! A few years ago the owner of Foley's reached out to me via Facebook, she was looking for a facepainter for her ''Christmas in July'' event. Of course, hearing I'd be stationed inside of an air conditioned ice cream shoppe, I couldn't help but say ''YES!'' I am so glad I did!
Foley's is located at 132 Hancock street in Braintree. It is right around the corner from the RMV. Foley's offers plenty of flavors, sundaes and toppings! They also have slushies, ice cream pies, ice cream sandwiches and a variety of drinks. There is plenty to brag about when talking about Foley's-I could tell you about their amazing Christmas in July event that they hold every Summer, where families are invited into a Winter Wonderland and even might get to visit the big man himself, Santa Claus! I could tell you about the awesome ice cream challenge they have, where you have to get down a dozen scoops of ice cream with toppings in ten minutes or less, and if you can handle it you'll win a Foley's Tshirt! I could tell you about their old-timey feel, as if you've stepped back in time to a 1950's Ice Cream Shoppe, as you embark of an adventure of flavors! But the most important thing I want to brag to you about is the amazing staff that works at Foley's. Good, kind people. Foley's owners are all about customer service-they just want the customer happy, and it shows with their efforts to bring smiles to people's faces.
