Saying Goodbye

By Jennifer Catto, Publisher and Laurie Corbett, Assistant Publisher, Macaroni Kid Weymouth December 21, 2020

It's bittersweet but the time has come for us to turn the reins of Macaroni Kid Weymouth over to a new publisher. Jenn began her Macaroni Kid tenure as the publisher of Macaroni Kid Dorchester on Halloween day in 2014 and added Macaroni Kid Weymouth to her publishing deck in March of 2016 since it is where she calls home and made it her sole focus a few years later. In the summer of 2018, Laurie joined the Macaroni Kid Weymouth team as assistant publisher after publishing Macaroni Kid South Shore Boston for 6 1/2 years, with two brief stints as the publisher for Macaroni Kid Plymouth. You can still find her at Macaroni Kid South Shore Boston.

Over the years Macaroni Kid Weymouth has hosted candy cane hunts, a summer family fun day, and more! We have shared countless family-friendly activities on our calendar, worked with wonderful local businesses, given away dozens of theatre tickets and other prizes, connected with many local organizations, and enjoyed being a part of the Weymouth, Braintree, Canton, Stoughton, Randolph, Holbrook and Avon communities. We will miss being the stewards of this edition so very much, but know a new local parent will take over the reins and make it their own.

We wish you all a wonderful holiday season filled with love. Stay healthy, stay safe.
