How do you get your toddler to eat (drink!) protein for breakfast?

By Emily Cabrera, Publisher of Macaroni Kid Leominster-Clinton, MA September 7, 2020

My two-year-old son has discovered cereal and enjoys pouring liquid from one container to another. Do any toddler Moms relate? It sure makes for some interesting breakfast meals and keeps me on my toes. Sometimes I worry if he even eats any of that cereal. But what I do know, is that if he drinks his milk right from the measuring cup, I know he’s getting a healthy dose of essential nutrients and protein!

Did you know that just one cup of Hood milk provides the nutrition to help their bodies grow healthy and strong, including 8g of protein per serving and it’s an excellent source of calcium? Their milk is also produced without artificial growth hormones* and all milk is tested for antibiotics**. I didn’t always associate protein with milk, I always thought about protein in meat at dinner time. With Hood milk, my kids are going to grow up with strong bones and muscles.

To add variety at lunch and dinner, I also keep Hood Moo Struck Chocolate low-fat milk on hand. It has no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial growth hormones, and also has 8g of protein in just one cup!

Did you know Hood white milk is also protected in the Light Block Bottle so you can get the most out of every drop? Hood cares about every single gallon they produce, just as Moms care about every single glass. With 9 essential nutrients and 8 grams of protein, you can trust Hood Milk to deliver the nutrition your kids need. From the farms they choose, to the LightBlock Bottle in your fridge, know that the quality and taste of Hood Milk is protected at every step of the way.

Macaroni Kid is proud to partner with Hood for this campaign. The author has been compensated for their time and their opinions are their own.
