Here’s a look at how we’re supporting learning in, and out, of the pool:
1. HELPING KIDS MAKE BIG WAVES IN LIFE, SCHOOL AND THE POOL
When it comes to childhood development, there are so many positive parallels between swim lessons and school – learning patience, using active listening, following directions, comprehension, teamwork and building friendships.
Not only are swim lessons a great release for all that energy that’s built up throughout the day, making it a great option for PE. Studies show that children who are enrolled in year-round swim lessons are more likely to reach a higher-than-expected level in school testing, and reach a range of developmental milestones early!
It’s also one of the few non-contact activities that children can safely participate in, and literally the only extracurricular activity that can save their lives!
2. MAKING LEARNING FUN THROUGH THE SCIENCE OF SWIMPLAY
Created by parents, for parents, Goldfish Swim School was started with one goal in mind: giving kids the platform to build valuable life skills that will help them make waves in life. Using The Science of SwimPlay, our holistic approach to play-based learning, we help kids develop essential life skills and we celebrate their progress every step of the way.
When it comes to our teachers, we truly have some of the best swim instructors around — each of whom are highly trained and bring the GOLDEN Experience to life for our swimmers each and every day!
3. CREATING A SAFE, FUN AND WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT FOR CHILDREN TO LEARN AND GROW
Our award-winning tropical atmosphere and shiver-free pools are simply the fun backdrop where kids do some incredible growing. With the ability to provide a controlled learning environment, we’re grateful for the opportunity to continue to provide children with essential life saving skills.
Through our “Safer. Stronger. Together.” initiative, Goldfish Swim School - Braintree have made notable adjustments to class sizes, sanitation procedures and school policies to ensure social distancing and to abide by Governor Baker’s and CDC guidelines.
