This week Emily Sassola, a Weymouth resident and mom of two with deep concerns about our local economy, started a massive community service project to help close the gap between customers and local businesses as they pivot to offer new services, products and other changes amidst current challenges.
Through a brand new website www.shoplocalsouthshore.com Emily's goal is to help local families connect with local businesses. Although site is still in its infancy, it will soon become a hub of local businesses sharing that they remain open, new services they are offering, and how we can shop local and support small businesses in our community when they need it most.
