By Randolph Fire Department September 16, 2019

Chief Richard Donovan would like to invite Randolph residents to attend their upcoming Annual Open House.

"This is the 25th year we've been hosting the open house at the station and it's an event that we really look forward to every year," Chief Donovan said. "We hope to see a large turnout for some fun and activities for the whole family."

WHEN:

Saturday, Oct. 12 from 1-3 p.m.

WHERE:

Randolph Fire Department Headquarters, 10 Memorial Parkway, Randolph

WHAT:

The Randolph Fire Department would like to invite residents of all ages to its 25th annual open house. Each year, the open house sees approximately 300-400 attendees.

The free event will feature tours of the Memorial Parkway fire station, fire education demonstrations and kids can get up close views of the interior and exterior of the department's fire engines, ladder trucks and ambulances.

In addition, kids that attend will receive coloring books, plastic fire helmets and fire safety materials.

There will be a demonstration of the department's vehicle extrication equipment and a prop smokehouse that kids can enter to see what it's like to be inside of a building that is filled with smoke.

Anyone seeking further information can contact Fire Prevention Officer Lt. Joe Messia at 781-961-0992.
